I made this website for a retired New York Times photographer whose goal was to draw more attention to his book that is being republished. He currently has a website, however, after receiving some feedback he decided to seek help creating a new one. Once the book is reprinted and available online, this website will become public.

Originally the photos were on a dark, busy background and there was only a few to look through. I decided on a white background as it creates more contrast, allowing the photos to pop. I also wanted to give the photos context by incorporating captions and stories, so that viewers will have a better understanding of what they are looking at and hopefully want to see more.
